Closing

Nella visione simbolica della continuità tra passato e presente, estrapolare un elemento come la maniglia, aggiunge un tassello alla storia. Fondamentale nell’interior, racchiude tecnologie avanzate, standard prestazionali, durata e concept che seguono la narrazione dell’architettura e del design. Le due collezioni esposte sono le novità del giovane brand Ento nato nel 2018, e già pluripremiato, dall’azienda storica Salice Paolo di Cantù. Ha scelto il contesto di ‘Design Forever’ per il lancio di ZAI, firmata da Neri&Hu e CONTACT di Eugeni Quitllet. La prima, che in cinese significa “ancora”, si ispira all’estetica senza tempo del profilo metallico piatto, modellato con una leggera curvatura organica per accogliere le mani. La seconda, esplora le potenzialità espressive delle forme morbide con una presa sottile e il caratteristico profilo a T appena accennato. Chiudono metaforicamente il percorso espositivo, per aprirlo idealmente verso prospettive future.

To bridge the gap between past and present, seen instead as a continuum, focusing on an element such as the handle adds a chapter to the story. Fundamental to interior design, it encapsulates advanced technologies, performance standards, durability and concepts in tune with the narrative of architecture and design. The two collections on display are the novelties of the young brand Ento, established in 2018 and already multiaward-winning, from the historical company Salice Paolo di Cantù. It chose ‘Design Forever’ for the launch of ZAI, designed by Neri&Hu and CONTACT by Eugeni Quitllet. The first one, which means ‘anchor’ in Chinese, is inspired by the timeless aesthetics of the flat metal profile, here featuring a gentle curve to accommodate the hands. The second one explores the expressive potential of soft shapes with a subtle grip and a distinctive, barely-there T-profile. They metaphorically conclude the exhibition itinerary, ideally opening it towards future perspectives.
