Color Wake
Scie luminose seguono il visitatore nel corridoio che collega le stanze, calandolo in un ecosistema digitale di suoni e colori. Nel passaggio, lo spazio si trasforma. È un intermezzo che qui sposta dagli oggetti alle persone la focalizzazione dell’apertura percettiva, con l’ipotesi di un’integrazione artificiale più sana e consapevole. La simulazione ludica dell’effetto ottico dei lens flare – realizzata in questa installazione dal collettivo Kokoschka Revival – richiama il rapporto interattivo che intratteniamo con le cose e con l’ambiente, anche nei nostri interni domestici, ormai lontani da un’organizzazione razionale. In una nuova gerarchia emozionale, fra reale e virtuale, ciò che resta del passato diventa presente. Non solo come citazione e memoria, ma per diluirsi in un futuro di complesse connessioni che ci auguriamo felici.
Light trails follow the visitors through the corridor connecting the rooms, immersing them into a digital ecosystem made of sounds and colours. In the passageway, the space is transformed. It is an ‘interlude’ that here shifts the focus of perceptual openness from objects to people, aiming at a healthier and more conscious artificial integration. The playful simulation of an optical effect, i.e. lens flares, realised in this installation by the Kokoschka Revival collective, recalls the interactive relationship we have with objects and the environment, even within our homes, now far from being rationally arranged. Within the framework of a new emotional hierarchy between real and virtual, what remains of the past becomes present. Not only as reference and memory, but also to help shape a future made of complex connections, that we hope will be good.
