È uno spazio interlocutorio, disegnato in continuità estetica con la reception. Contiene un accenno alle possibilità compositive di tempo e spazio. In posizione dominante per dimensioni, è il divano. Richiama alla mente l’originale campagna pubblicitaria dello studio Baroni del 1982 diffusa per il suo lancio. Nel messaggio l’imbottito, paragonato a un corpo umano “fatto di pelle e ossatura”, è capace di “suscitare il desiderio di possesso e tramutare la casa in suggestiva dimora. Ecco perché può accadere che un divano o una poltrona, scelti per la loro funzionalità, si trasformino anche in oggetto d’affezione”. Sembra dare ragione alla poltrona nata oltre dieci anni prima. Senza imbottiture, cuscini e braccioli regge la comoda seduta di pelliccia bianca ecologica, con il gusto grafico di una struttura di acciaio ripiegata negli angoli a U. Sono reinvenzioni che spingono in avanti la rivoluzione modernista di inizio secolo scorso, con nuove possibilità tecniche e creative. Da illuminare con i sofisticati grafismi di luce di oggi.

It is a transitional space, designed to be aesthetically in tune with the reception, and also alluding to the compositional possibilities of time and space. Dominant in size is the sofa. It reminds the original advertising campaign by Studio Baroni from 1982 for its launch. In the advertisement, the upholstered item, compared to a human body “made of skin and bone”, is capable of “arousing the desire to possess it and turning the home into an evocative dwelling. That is why a sofa or an armchair, chosen for its functionality, can also become an object of affection”. This explains the success of the armchair designed over ten years earlier. Without upholstery, cushions and armrests, it combines the comfortable white faux fur seat with the geometrical style of a steel frame characterized by U-shaped edges. These renovations push the modernist revolution of the early 20th century forward, offering new technological and creative solutions. To be illuminated with today’s refined and graphic plays of light.
